🎉 It’s our 🔟th BIRTHDAY! Hooray! 🎉 And you know what that means... this month, it’s all about TEN! We’ve got some exciting “10” surprises coming your way. 🤩

Beyond the support of all our amazing guests over the past ten years, Gys wouldn’t be Gys without its awesome colleagues! So, we asked them: What were your favorite dishes to eat while working? 😋✨

Let’s be real – if you’re working hard, you deserve comforting food that keeps you going, right? 😏 It wasn’t easy to choose, but here’s what our team loves/loved the most. Let us know your faves in the comments – we’re curious to know! 👇🙌

🍛 Loaded Hummus – The ultimate comfort food which has appeared on our menu in different ways! We’ve done everything from peanut hummus to hummus with caponata 🤤
🥕 Carrot Cake Balls with white chocolate – A true crowd-pleaser! Guests still ask for these years later (curious? Stay tuned 😉)
🍠 Beet Tartare with vegan “egg yolk” (made from carrot!) – A masterpiece - it was also very tasty on bread as a lunch dish!
🥢 Saté – A biiig favorite! Something similar (and better 👀) might be coming back soon!
🍲 Rendang – Pulled jackfruit with coconutmilk, with loaaaaads of spices, a true bowl of comfort food!
🌮 Tostadas – this version features jackfruit, but we’ve got a vegan minced meat one on the menu now (our team says it’s even better!)
🌻 Sunflower Risotto – Comforting, colorful, and like summer on a plate! ☀️
🍄 Ruffle My Truffle – We first served this version with avocado and truffle mayo, but later it got a well-deserved upgrade with fried oyster mushrooms and cherry tomato chutney. A biiiig favourite on the menu for years amongst our colleagues and guests, which why it’s still there to stay! 🙌
🥪 Club Sandwich – This one might just be making a comeback soon… one of our previous Gys’ team members was famous for eating this (almost) every day! 😅
🍝 Italian with a Twist – From last winter’s menu, a hearty plate of pure comfort. Perfect for the chilly days! ❄️

🎉 It’s our 10th birthday!🎉 Gys exist for 10 years this october! Hurrah! And, of course we couldn’t have done this without you! So, from our whole team a big THANK YOU for making Gys a wonderful place to enjoy great food, drinks, and have a good time. Cheers to you! Naast een shakshuka met ei, serveren we ook een heel lekkere vegan Shakshuka. Heb jij onze shakshuka al eens geprobeerd? Bij ons kun je genieten van een lekkere en smaakvolle plantaardige Shakshuka, gemaakt met pittige tomaat en verse groenten, gegarneerd met vegan feta en natuurlijk huisgemaakte scrambled tofu met een twist, namelijk vulkaanzout!

Nog leuker, je kunt de Shakshuka los bestellen, voor een fijne lunch pauze. Of 's ochtends tijdens onze Breakfast Deal als kleinere variant voor slechts €9,95, inclusief een kleine loaded bananabread en een smoothie. Deze aanbieding is iedere dag geldig tot 11:30 uur! 🍳🍅

Have you ever tried our delicious Vegan Shakshuka? Yes, at Gys you can enjoy a very tasty and flavourful plant based Shashuka, made with spicy tomato and fresh veggies topped with vegan feta and of course a homemade scrambled tofu that has a twist! Volcano salt!!
