As we mentioned before, our high tea is entirely vegetarian and vegan. In addition to being plant-based, our high tea is also entirely gluten-free and homemade. At Gys we work with 100% organic ingredients. Furthermore, our chefs prefer to use as many local and seasonal ingredients as possible. And you’ll taste this! Our high tea is not only delicious for you and the rest of the group, but also for our planet!

The price of the high tea is 32,50 per person.

At Gys, we serve the vegetarian high tea in two rounds, allowing your group to enjoy all the deliciousness in a relaxed and indulgent manner. First, our chefs serve a platter with a variety of special savory vegan, organic, and gluten-free dishes. What we serve is a surprise, as it’s always a selection curated by our chefs. However, you can rest assured that it will be a delightful experience!

One round with sweets

Once everyone has enjoyed the savory dishes, we serve a platter of sweets created by our pastry chef, Stavros. Our pastry chef specializes in baking incredibly delicious vegan and gluten-free cakes, cookies, and other treats. Trust us, even those who usually opt for non-vegan and gluten-free options won’t even notice because it’s just that good! 😄

Fully gluten-free savoury and sweet dishes

The best part about the high tea is that it’s completely gluten-free If you’re coming with someone who has celiac disease or a gluten intolerance, they don’t need to worry at all. Since we don’t process any gluten in our kitchen at all, everyone with a gluten allergy or celiac disease can enjoy our standard gluten-free high tea!

Over the years, restaurant Gys has become more popular for people with an allergy. Our chefs are familiar with most allergies and dietary wishes. Is there anyone in your party with a specific allergy, no worries! Most likely, we can also accommodate this allergy. We do appreciate it if you could let us know in advance so our chefs can accommodate any allergies while preparing the high tea. You can enjoy a high tea with a group at two locations in Utrecht at Gys.

Gys at the Amsterdamsestraatweg

Our location at the Amsterdamsestraatweg is the ideal location to enjoy a high tea with a larger party. You can find Gys at the ASW within walking distance of the Central station. This location boasts a delightful green terrace. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy unlimited tea and savoury and sweet delights with your entire group in the sunshine! But also this location of Gys is very enjoyable to have a good time inside. We can arrange long tables here, so you can sit (as much as possible) all together!

Gys at the Voorstraat

At the other location of Gys at the Voorstraat due to the layout of the restaurant, it might be a bit challenging to set up longer tables for groups. That’s why we always recommend our spacious Amsterdamsestraatweg location with its luscious terrace! If you really like to enjoy your high tea at Gys at the Voorstraat in the city center of Utrecht, please get in touch and we can view whether it’s possible to book a table for your at this location!
