Gys at the Amsterdamsestraatweg
You can come to us for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and dinner. Gys can be found at two locations, with our location on Amsterdamsestraatweg in Utrecht being particularly suitable for groups. This location is, in fact, within walking distance from Utrecht Central Station (just ten minutes). For guests not arriving by public transport, there is always ample parking available on Amsterdamsestraatweg and the side streets of the restaurant (free on Sunday, for a small fee the rest of the week).
This Gys location is spacious, with indoor seating for long tables where everyone can catch up with each other as much as possible. But even in good weather, this is a great place to be. This Gys features a spacious green terrace where you can enjoy the sun with a large group!
Different possibilities for groups
At Gys, we do not offer separate group menus with limited choices to choose from. When you come to eat with a group, you can choose from the same dishes as when you visit us as a couple. We actually find it enjoyable to offer our guests the option to order anything from the menu, ensuring there’s always something for everyone! However, we do have fun group arrangements to choose from.
Enjoying a high tea to celebrate something
In addition to being able to come to us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks, it’s also possible to enjoy a high tea with a group at our place. Catching up with a group of friends, is someone getting married, or is someone expecting a baby and a baby shower is being organized? A high tea is always fun to do! At our high tea, you’ll enjoy unlimited tea, a glass of juice of your choice (optional: a glass of cava as well), savory snacks, and a selection of pastries. Our high tea is completely vegan and can also be prepared entirely gluten-free.
