Roadworks on Amsterdamsestraatweg – Gys Remains Accessible!
From Sunday evening, October 6, until Monday morning, November 11, roadworks will take place on the Amsterdamsestraatweg, causing sections of the road to be closed in both directions for cars. Don’t worry: Gys remains easily accessible for cyclists and pedestrians!

Detours for Cars:

Towards the City Center: Follow the route via Oudenoord, Royaards van den Hamkade, St. Josephlaan, Cartesiusweg, Thomas a Kempisweg, Vleutenseweg, and Daalsetunnel.

Towards Zuilen/Maarssen: Take the detour via Daalsetunnel, Vleutenseweg, Thomas a Kempisweg, Cartesiusweg, St. Josephlaan, and Royaards van den Hamkade.
Entering and exiting the neighborhoods:
Access to the neighborhoods is possible via the following streets: 1e Daalsedijk, Herenweg, Otterstraat, Acaciastraat, and Thorbeckelaan.
Additional access option for cars:
The Amsterdamsestraatweg is temporarily open in both directions between Bethlehemweg and Acaciastraat for cars, mopeds, and scooters.
Parking
You can park in the streets around Gys restaurant, including paid parking on Bethlehemweg, if a space is available. Prefer to park in a parking garage? Then parking garage Hoog Catharijne P5 entrance north is an 8-minute walk away!
If you can come by foot or by bike, we highly recommend it!
