Cozy venue centrally located in Utrecht

Gys can be found at two great locations in Utrecht! We’ve started Gys 10 years ago with one location. This Gys you can find at the Voorstraat. Near Neude and just around the corner from Jans Kerkhof. This location is perfect if you’re looking to enjoy drinks with a (small) group and maybe explore the city afterwards!

The second location of Gys you find at theAmsterdamsestraatweg near Utrecht’s Central Station. This location boasts a lovely green terrace and plenty of space indoors. The perfect spot for a cozy gathering with a group ranging from 7 to 70 people! It’s also possible to exclusively rent out this location for your (business) drinks, birthday party, promotion celebration, or whatever the occasion may be!

Corporate drinks, festive birthday celebration, or gathering with friends?

Whatever the reason for the gathering, we warmly welcome groups at Gys! Do you have a birthday you’d like to celebrate? That sounds fun! Or simply having drinks with a group of friends, that’s also possible with us, of course.

And if you’re looking for a sustainable venue for your corporate drinks, then you’ve come to the right place with us. For Gys, sustainable business practices are simply normal. Group packages

At Gys, we offer various drink and snack packages for groups. You can choose a drink package where everyone has a certain number of drinks to enjoy. This way, you’ll know in advance what to plan for the drinks. Do you want a more elaborate drinks selection? That’s also possible! There’s something for everyone!

Appetizers with something for everyone to enjoy

At Gys, you can enjoy 100% organic comfort food. Everything you eat at Gys is organic, plant-based, and gluten-free. Groups coming to us for drinks can choose from various appetizer package options. Do you want everyone to enjoy five or seven appetizers each? That’s possible! If you want more, that’s certainly possible too! We are flexible and like to think along with you.

The tasty thing about Gys is that our appetizers are anything but standard. So no bitterballen or other ready-made items on the table. Everything at Gys is homemade by our chefs! How does truffle tempura sound? Or delicious crispy oyster mushrooms? Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? Feel free to take a look at our menu!

Drinks gathering for people with allergies

Our chefs are familiar with most allergies and dietary preferences. Is anyone in the group allergic to anything? No worries! Over the years, Gys has become a popular destination for people with allergies or intolerances. Gluten-free, soy-free, lactose-free, nut-free? It’s all possible. We naturally take allergies into account. So you can be sure that there’s always something delicious served for everyone.

Delicious drinks with and without alcohol

Not only is all the food at Gys organic, our drinks are just the same. We serve a wide range of organic beers with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Delicious lager from Budels, a blond beer form vandeStreek or a nice 0.0 IPA, these are just a few of our delicious beers.

For our other alcoholic beverages, we collaborate with theGroene Slijter. All the wines you drink with us are not only organic but also sustainably produced. We also have natural wines on our menu. Do you want to go all out? Our bartenders are delighted to make delicious gin tonics, cocktails, and mocktails for your group!

Of course, you’ll also find plenty of non-alcoholic options on our menu, such as homemade lemonades, juices, and of course, coffee and tea!

Having drinks with a group is always enjoyable! But of course, you also want the location to be easily accessible for everyone. Luckily, this is exactly the case at Gys! Both of our locations are less than a 15-minute walk from Utrecht Central Station. Additionally, at our location on Amsterdamsestraatweg, you can easily find parking in the surrounding streets. Is everyone coming by bike? Then it’s even easier, with plenty of bike parking spaces at Gys!

Exclusive rental of Gys for a drinks gathering or party?

And if you’re with a (larger) group and looking for an exclusive venue for your corporate drinks, staff party, birthday celebration, or whatever the occasion may be? It is possible to rent Gys on the Amsterdamsestraatweg exclusively for a drink get-together, party or dinner. We have capacity for up to 70 people outside and 60 on our terrace. This location also has a large green terrace where you can enjoy with a large group if the weather permits! But it is also very cozy inside! Would you like to know more about this?
